As spring approaches, we would like to remind customers of the importance of ensuring that tanks are free from water.  It is vital to monitor tanks daily for the presence of water, especially after a heavy rainfall. 

Please make sure you are doing the following:

1.  Inspect fill and vapor caps for damage and missing gaskets, replace if necessary.

2.  Inspect product and spill containment buckets.  If water is present, remove and dispose of the water properly.

3.  MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING PHASE SEPARATION DETECTION FUEL FILTERS.

 Following these steps not only helps avert microbial contamination and corrosion but also should prevent potential damage to a consumer’s vehicle from a water infiltration event.
