Ewing Oil Company was founded October 1, 1965 by Caleb C. Ewing, Sr. Ewing Oil Company started primarily as a small heating oil company, with some commercial fuel sales. In 1972 Ewing acquired Smith Oil Company, a small Exxon branded heating oil company, with one company-operated gas station. In succeeding years Ewing Oil Company significantly expanded its retail and wholesale gasoline operations, acquiring several smaller companies and purchasing numerous retail locations.
Today Ewing Oil Company is one of the largest petroleum distributors in the Mid-Atlantic area. Serving Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and the District of Columbia, Ewing supplies over 175 service stations. We also sell petroleum products to larger commercial customers. |
